John Goodman - CEO

John brings years of leadership and telecom experience to his role as CEO of Goodman Telecom Services. Prior to founding Goodman Telecom, John was a founding member of Goodman Networks, serving as CEO for over 15 years and as Executive Chairman for 20 years. Under his leadership, Goodman Networks grew into one of the largest field services companies in the US. John’s telecom career began at Bell Atlantic Professional Services, where he managed outside and inside plant services in the southwest US. In 1997, he joined GTE’s Network Operations Center in Irving, Texas, where he supported Fortune 500 companies and provided broadband technical support services domestically. Following the merger of GTE and Bell Atlantic in 2000, John left Verizon to co-found Goodman Networks. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University.

Scott Pickett – Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff and a founding member of Goodman Telecom Services, Scott is responsible for IT, HR and Support Operations. Scott brings years of leadership experience across all functional areas of business. Prior to joining Goodman Telecom, Scott led Business Development, Marketing, Strategic Planning and M&A functions, and for a short period CFO, for Goodman Networks for over 15 years, helping to grow Goodman from a $10M revenue to a $1.2B revenue company during his tenure. Scott has also served as CEO and CFO of a start-up healthcare company that grew from pre-revenue to over $20M in revenue and as the VP of Sales for MindLever Corp, an enterprise software company located in Research Triangle Park, NC. Scott graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computing & Information Science from McKendree University in Lebanon, IL.

James Wise – EVP Infrastructure Services

James has overall responsibility for the execution and P&L for the Infrastructure Services organization for Goodman Telecom including management of break-fix, small cell, and special projects across the Southern United States. He is a 25-year veteran of the wireless industry having held positions ranging from technician to C Level in both carrier and vendor roles. James spent 18 years at AT&T where he was responsible for regional build plans. James then went onto become the Chief Operating Officer of Qualtech and later TSI. James is a veteran of the US Navy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a master’s certificate in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Tim Parsons – EVP Professional Services

Tim leads Goodman Telecom Services’ Professional Services team, which includes Engineering (OSP, RF and Equipment) and the delivery of turnkey Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for commercial enterprise customers. Prior to joining the Goodman Telecom team, Tim was Sr Director of Professional Services for Goodman Networks, leading DAS and OSPE programs as well as Goodman’s AT&T Mobility Wireless Infrastructure Services in Michigan and Indiana during his tenure. Tim has also led field service teams at Eastman Kodak, Danka, Pitney Bowes Management Services, and Shred-it. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Maritime College. He graduated with a USCG Third Mates license and was commissioned as a Naval Reserve Officer.

Kevin Haynes - EVP Operations

Kevin has 35 years of experience in the telecom industry, most recently serving as MasTec’s EVP of the West Region. During his time at MasTec, Kevin oversaw a range of operations programs including infrastructure service day-to-day operations, program management, recruiting, HR, fleet, logistics, IT, metrics and reporting .Prior to joining MasTec, Kevin spent 24 years at AT&T, serving in numerous roles across the company including VP of Construction and Engineering, Executive Director Wireless for North Texas and Executive Director-Network Operations. During his tenure, Kevin supported numerous technology deployments in multiple markets including: 3G and 4G commercial launches and transitions from TDMA to GSM.  Kevin also served in the United States Army Signal Corps in Georgia, Italy and California.

Duncan Maclean - EVP Business Development

Duncan leads Goodman Telecom Services’ Business Development program with over 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He has a demonstrated history working with tier one operators including Sprint, Vodafone, Telefonica and T-Mobile. Prior to joining Goodman Telecom, Duncan worked for Ericsson managing a $1.3 billion account suppling hardware and services for Sprint’s live operational network. In this role, Duncan supported Sprint’s wireless operations and maintenance programs and was responsible for launching Sprint’s 5G network in 4 US markets. Additionally, Duncan has experience leading large field service and engineering organizations. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Science degree focused in Management Electronics and Global Communication Systems.

Mark Stiles - SVP Business Development

Mark is responsible for Infrastructure Sales initiatives at Goodman Telecom, servicing customers including the New T-Mobile, Verizon and Nokia. Mark has over 35 years of telecommunications sales and network deployment experience with various wireless communication companies including Ericsson, Nextel, Motorola, Clear Wire. Prior to joining Goodman Telecom, Mark served as VP of Infrastructure Services Business Development at Goodman Networks for 10 years. Mark co-founded and was CEO for Looking Glass Technology LLC, a telecommunications company that specializes in outsourcing managed services operations, including Network Operations Center and Field Operations servicing over 15,000 cell sites across 17 markets across the continental US. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University.
